The SUPERBRAND Spam Surfboard Futures is designed as a speed machine, for small to mid size waves. The creator and great surfer in his own right Dion Agius declares, “Dude, this is the fastest board I’ve ever surfed!” The SPAM has a low entry rocker so speed is immediately noticeable, catching waves and on the wave. The fuller nose and overall wider outline provides great planning across fatter and flatter sections. It also helps you make the most use of sucky sections when available. The flyer reduces this width at the tail so you can plant your foot on the swallow tail and get the board rail to rail and vertical for big manoeuvres. The rails are low, speed generating.
The bottom is flatter to get the most speed from quick sloppy sections. It features a single into double concave so you get even more speed. It’s the double concave vee at the tail that helps you gert rail to rail. The SUPERBRAND Spam is recommended 2-4 inches shorter and half and inch or more wider than your standard shortboard. Dion recommends you mix up the fin configuration to a twin or with small stabiliser centrefin so you can have an absolute blast with this board.
