The Hydro Hand Surfer Bodysurfer Handboard is the great way to maximise your bodysurfing. It’s a board that fits to your hand, designed so you can easily swim out through the break. Then once out the back you can catch waves and use the board to support your weight so you glide on the wave face. With this type of handboard you get long rides like a board rider. The Hydro has advanced features. It has a core so it’s not just solid plastic or wood or hollow. It uses a foam core similar to a bodyboard, coming from Hydro Bodyboards. This is a high quality dense foam with characteristics suited to surfing. It won’t chatter or vibrate and you’ll get the right amount of flex for the board to help you carve on the wave face as you push on it. The Hydro Hand Surfer Bodysurfer Hand Board has a low profile, not too thick, that adds sensitivity so with smaller movements you can do big moves on the wave face. A heavy duty strap with velcro keeps the Hydro Hand Surfer Bodysurfer Handboard on your hand. So in the event of a big wipeout or dump the board will still stay put. The tail has a swallow that gives you two points to turn off facilitating going up and down the wave. There’s also bottom flutes that give release so the board won’t bog down, helping you get longer waves.
