The Futures Performance Single Fin is a classic design to give you classic old school surfing. While this is a Future Fins it’s  a single surfboard fin and won’t fit the Future Fins fin boxes. Futures has revisited single fin design with the latest tech to refine its characteristics. Instead of a static rudder it’s super responsive adding liveliness to your surfing. The thickness and density is greatest at the base so you get stability and drive. The leading edge also has thickness. So you also get great directional stability. Volume is reduced at the fin tip and rear edge. So you get phenomenal flex. As you go into a change of direction the Futures Performance Single Fin gives a consistent flex eventually loading up then sling-shoting you out of the section.

The fin depth matched with the flex gives you sensitivity in smaller waves. You can draw a higher line, the fin holding, then drop down into radical cutbacks and super drawn out bottom turns. This surfboard fin helps your board flow and move with you. It opens up new possibilities, like use in a Bonzer design board. Construction choices include fiberglass and Thermotec and a range of fin sizes. These fins come with the Futures Truss Base making them even lighter. This design breaks under impact so the risk of injury or board damage is reduced. This fins is not like other Futures’ surfboard fins, it’s a single fin and won’t fit in the standard Futures fin box.
