They use coco fiber with their moulded SecureCell EPS vacuum moulded construction. So you get a board that looks great and is helping the environment. It terms of design this is a hybrid. It has a fuller shape of a fish at the front with a pulled in tail like a shortboard. The nose is fuller so you get easy wave catching. This also helps get across fat foaming wave sections so you can link up longer rides.
The width is extended through the body of the board. So you get good stability, important for getting to your feet. The rails are fuller and low. So you get a balance between the board not catching in the chop, and being able to drive. Towards the tail the board takes on shortboard features with less width, a flyer and swallow tail. This setup enables you to get the board on its rail, necessary for doing harder, more radical turns.
