What makes this plug special is that is has a wide frog mouth. This means the hole that you thread your leash string through is extra wide on the opening side.Β So when you go to thread your leash it goes in extra easy and extra fast.
The frog mouth narrows when it comes to the central bridge so you don’t loose strength needed on this high stress area. The bridge is part of the central core and part of the plug stem that goes through your board and is screwed into the base. So you get maximum strength.
The circular head is generous. So it spreads the force and stress of the wave over a larger area reducing the chance of any pull through. The head also features a rounded lip reducing the chance of it cutting into your deck. The lip also aiding the slide-through of your cord.
