The Futures EN Honeycomb Twin Fin Set gives versatility and power to your board. Whether its a classic wider Fish, performance Twin, or Thruster, these fins will give you both more power and vertical surfing. Their overall shape is similar to a standard Thruster shape. This more upright design gives more pivot so you can go off the bottom, hit the lip and come off the top in short arc turns. The wide base gives you a heap of drive off the bottom. So you don’t get caught off the top the tip narrows and with less area will help you come around. That being said the tip has sweep so you’ll also have more projection and flow. So the Futures EN Honeycomb Twin will also work down the line.
These fins are large in size, in terms of base, height and area. There’s only two fins yet you’ll feel more drive than from a Thruster. Without the rear fin you’ll also feel a lot more speed with the EN shape directing the wave energy out the tail of your board.
The fibreglass construction of the Futures EN Honeycomb Twin enhances the overall feel. The fiberglass loads up well then also provides a predictable powerful release. If you’re a bigger surfer and are finding yours boards slow, especially in small weak wave, this is a great set to try for extra drive and liveliness. The fins feature the Futures Truss Base so they are light. Designed to break under impact the truss reduces the risk of injury or board damage.
