The Future Fins Legacy HC Thruster Raked Set give you super drivey down the line performance. Raked means their shape curves more toward the back. So they harness the wave power pushing you down the line. If you’ve got a long wall or barrel ahead you get way more projection with your pump and control to set your position. You can still do big turns with these fins however they’re optimised for projection and holding a line. With the rake, the width of the base is carried up the fin and extended towards the rear. So as you push on the fin there’s more of the fin at the back pushing you down the line. The Future Fins Legacy HC Thruster Raked tip has less area. This greatly reduces drag and gives you flex and release. The fin will flex into the wave and won’t skip as you push and hold hard in long bottom and top turns. The side and rear fins of the set are all the same size so you get a great consistent feeling under your feet.

Ultra Light Feel

Construction of the Future Fins Legacy HC Thruster Raked Set is HC honey comb. So you get a very light fin. Future’s layup keeps the fin stiff with lower flex in the body while the tip is flexier. Under your feet this gives you a positive feel with hold even in sucky waves. As you hold your line you get the feeling of the board carving with you in the wave, not sliding out. The set is called the Legacy as the shape brings together the best of Future Fins Australia previously released fins with updated refinement.

The Future Fins Legacy HC Thruster Raked Set comes in three sizes. R4 being a small sized fin, R6 being mid-sized, R8 being biggest. You can use the set of fins across your fin quiver. For example in small waves the bigger R8 fin can harness the most of the small wave power while still giving you longer drivey turns. The R6 with its mid-size is great for your every day wave where you want to drive and also to jam. The R4 is smaller so in your StepUp you can do big long carves without catching.
