The Future Fins Alpha Carbon QD2 Quad Medium 2 Rear Fins upgrade your thruster to a Quad or 5 fin. At 4.00″ height these rear fins are rated medium in the Future’s range so suited to a medium sized surfer. They have a symmetrical foil so feel stable and smooth. When you push on the fin the drive is strong and consistent. They have a Ride Number around 5 so you also get a balance between speed and drive. Construction is the new innovative Alpha Carbon so you get super performance. Carbon and air infused in the fin makes up the Alpha construction. Not carbon strips like older style application. The carbon particles can be varied in density from the base to the tip. The base is stiffer with more carbon giving super drive, the tip is flexi so you get spontaneous release. The degree of carbon content gives a power gradient. In addition, the Alpha has a new 3D texture featured on the trailing edges that reduces turbulence and drag so you get speed. The fin is noticeably fast and super light. Lighter than honeycomb. The fins feature the Futures Truss Base.
