The Exile Blairacuda Carbon Fibreglass Skimboard is an elite board and top of the exile range. The Blaircuda features the highest grade materials in its construction. Construction uses aerospace grade carbon fibre, lighter strong fibreglass and premium epoxy resin. So you get a lighter, stronger super responsive board that will perform in the smallest to biggest conditions. More refined in the shape there’s a fuller nose and tail, less egg-like, with a swallow tail. So you get great handling. The shape gives you the balance between hold and bite with the swallow, and looseness and full direction change drive with the outline. The rocker also gives performance so aids your takeoff transition from sand to surf.

How Exile Works

If you’re not sure what it’s all about here’s a quick overview of how skimboards work. Skimboards catch waves right on the shore. Though occassionally they’re used by Pros on giant outside waves. You don’t paddle them. So compared to a normal surfboard they are small. The way they work is that you run on the sand then throw the board down when there’s a thin layer of water washed up over the sand. As the board is in motion you then run and jump on it.
