Waikiki 17.5″ Boardshort

The Waikiki 17.5″ Boardshort gives you detailed stylised motifs on the backdrop of a traditional island tapa look. This is not a pair of shorts like a Hawaiian shirt, but a pair with a look true to the traditional Polynesian cultural heritage.

The fabric is a special multi-blend. Primarily recycled polyester, that gives you quick dry, there’s also cotton and hemp. These natural fibres giving a comfy feel and natural, down-to-earth finish. There’s a lesser amount of spandex so the shorts have a nice flex and stretch.

It’s a shorter boardie, 17.5″ leg length. So you get greater freedom of movement when surfing with less fabric flapping around your leg. The contrasting colour waistband with drawcord gives you a snug fit. The drawcord stopping the shorts from coming off in wipeouts.

The side features a pocket with flip cover. So this limits waves washing in. The side position also meaning you’re not sitting on wax or  keys when you’re on your board.
