Advanced Features
Yamamoto 39cell used in the suit is an extremely flexible neoprene so you get uninhibited natural swimming motion. 39cell stretches 513% so you get great flex for your most powerful strokes and torque body motion. There’s the added benefits of zero water absorption and zero weight variation so you get more speed. A fine balance between buoyancy and flexibility, 39cell is a durable material. It represents the best neoprene available in its class. The new Aerodome 2 technology applied to the lower trunk area provides 30% greater buoyancy for swimmers. Orca uses this material in the areas with the greatest body weight so you get an optimal swimming position in the water.
Advanced Materials
Super Composite Skin (SCS) is used in areas of the suit – it’s the leading triathlon wetsuit lining. So you get unmatched friction reduction and hydrodynamics. Orca uses the most innovative version of SCS called Nano SCS. The friction coefficient in the water of Orca’s Nano SCS is 0.026. The average for other wetsuits is 4.0. The inner lining, called Infinity Skin, provides the feeling of absolute freedom. It’s based on a high-elasticity nylon that incorporates bamboo fibres so you get super smooth fit and feel. This lining also maintains body heat longer, reduces body odor and the appearance of bacteria and reduces the chance of chaffing.
The Orca Sonar Wetsuit thickness of the all-new SuperStretch lining is very fine. It’s super stretchy due to it’s makeup and the way it’s been knitted. It absorbs little water. So the panel stays more buoyant and contributes to making the chest really stretchy for unrestricted breathing. Check our full range of Swimming Wetsuits at Manly Surfboards>Swimming Wetsuits
