FCS M5 IFT Tri Fin Set

The FCS M5 IFT Tri Fin Set is suited for softboards and for Beginner surfers. This high-tech fin is constructed from urethane. This is softer than fiberglass so you get a lot of flex. In your surfing this means being able to take your time so you can push gradually into turns without feeling your board over-reacting. In terms of safety this flex means the fin will give more than a stiff fibreglass fin. M-5 refers to the shape of the fin. It is a fuller shape so is stable. The wider base and fuller tip both help move you through the water with speed and drive. IFT relates to the high-tech nature of the fin. It has a foil or curved surface on the inside of the fin that is hydrodynamic, aiding water flow. Convex on the outside and concave on the inside the fin helps water flow reducing drag.
