The waist band features elastic so they’re quick on and off. Added to this the drawstring allows you to keep the shorts snug, safe, through the heaviest wipeout. Slit pockets on the side are great. These are generous to hold for wallet, phone, keys. A smaller magnetic pocket on the rear to keep a card or key safe while surfing is a nice bonus feature.
