Slyde Wedge Handboard
The Slyde Wedge Handboard gives you full featured bodysurfing with a Hawaiian pedigree. This board has the most features in the Slyde range giving you great versatility. It’s great for Beginner and Progressing body surfers in small to head high surf. It has a wider area where you naturally find your balance in the middle of the board. So you automatically get floatation and speed. The nose is narrowed so it won’t catch. This helps you get extra speed when you push forward on the wave. In the tail there’s a double concave swallow. This reduces the easy-surfing wider area. So when you lean back you can easily do great carving bottom turns and moves.
The Slyde Wedge Handboard construction is of epoxy with an EPS foam core. This makes your board light, a great advantage when swimming out through the break to get to your next ride. Multi laminates give outer protection so it will take odd bangs and bumps. The size is 19.8 inches long by 10.1 inches wide. So you get a generous professional length of board that makes the most of small waves and maximises what’s on offer in bigger waves. A heavy duty padded velcro strap keeps the Slyde Wedge Hand Board attached to your hand. It fits snug and comfy for long periods swimming out through the break.
