The Ocean & Earth Slash Mens Rash Vest SS is a short sleeve rashie that gives you great surf coverage. It has a UPF rating of 50 UV protection. So you get great protection out in the sun. Flat locked seams are used throughout. These are seams that are flat against the material and so aren’t raised. They give you protection from rashing and a comfort feel. The construction is quality nylon elastane so you get good stretch and fit with durability. Elastine is a great alternative over Lycra. It has more body so in the water it won’t bag or balloon out every time a wave comes. It will hold it’s shape. As the wind rises the elastine also provides more protection. A high neck provides protection from the sun and other elements.
Additional features include a boardshort anchor loop so the rashie will always stay in place. A 60mm neck area provides a good fit feel as well as super coverage for your neck from sun and wind. This is a great way to surf in summer. The elastine helps prevent rash when paddling on your board and you get great sun protection.
