Liive Maxi Polar Sunglasses
The Liive Maxi Polar Sunglasses give you classic good looking surf sunnies without the extra weight of a thick frame and arms. They’re sleek, sophisticated with reasonably fine arms. While the front frame has a squarish top the lenses do have curve in them. So you getΒ coverage from beach sun without the bulk and a look that’s too-sporty or cumbersome. The slight lens curve follows your facial contours. This gives reasonable protection from sunlight entering directly. The lenses are rated by Australian Standards as Category 3. This means that these sunnies give you – “a high level of sun glare reduction and good UV protection.”
Polarised
A key feature of the Liive Maxi Polar Sunnies is that the lenses are polarised. This is a great and advanced feature for when you focus on viewing the surf. It means that glare coming from the water is not allowed to enter your lenses. Without this glare you can see the wave face better, see detail such as bump, lump and backwash. This clarity of vision will help you make better decisions regards where and when to surf. Polarised lenses also help you see into the water to check rock pools, fish and such.
The Liive Maxi Polar Sunglasses are of plastic construction so they sit well on your face. They’re not too light that they’ll drop off. The inside frame also features a black wood finish that shows hints of wood texture adding to the unique sophisticated look. These are a great pair of surf sunnies.
