The Komunity Project Longboard 9′ Knee Leash comes out of a Kelly Slater initiative, the Komunity Project. This is a premium leash. It features a slightly shorter cuff to fit placement below your knee. The knee cuff is designed to keep the leash out of your way. Especially so if walking the board or going for a nose ride. The ankle configuration features a custom moulded extension fitting that directs the leash away from your feet. So you get unobstructed surfing when you’re taking critical drops and the cord isn’t under your feet once on the wave.

Both ends of the leash feature stainless steel swivels. So it turns and moves freely and doesn’t snake or twist up. This is an important feature as it helps prevent the cord from snagging around your fins slowing you down or causing your board to catch. Construction is of solid urethane so the leash doesn’t overstretch and returns to size. It also has the right amount of spring and elasticity to return the board where you need it. A detachable triple wrap rail saver is also part of the package.
