Komunity Project Comp Triple Swivel 6′ Leash

The Komunity Project Comp Triple Swivel 6′ Leash comes out of a Kelly Slater initiative, the Komunity Project. This is a premium leash featuring three swivels. There’s a double swivel at your ankle and a single swivel on the rail saver. This is a key improvement so the leash turns and moves super freely. This in turn prevents the cord from twisting and snagging around your feet that can cause you to fall. It also stops the leash catching around your fins that can cause your board to slow. Construction is of solid quality urethane so the leash doesn’t overstretch and instantly returns to size. This is a great benefit over cheaper leashes that tend to either break when hit with a solid wave, or over stretch and don’t return to their original length becoming unmanageable. What’s even worse is a cheap urethane cord that recoils too quickly causing your board to return and hit you. The quality of the Komunity Leash urethane resolves all these problems. A detachable triple wrap rail saver is also part of the package so the area around the tail of your board gets maximum protection.

Included is a plug buddy. This is a small strip of plastic attached to the leash string that makes it easy to thread the string through your board deck plug. A generous well padded cuff is provided at the ankle. The cord also projects away from your ankle so the leash is out of your way once on the wave. The Komunity Project Triple Swivel Leg Rope is a fantastic leash for everyday surfing and comes with an incredible 2 year warranty.
