The Future Fins DHD Honey Comb Tri Fin Set gives you great surfing. These fins have a super lightweight honeycomb fin construction and are all about control through a raked design. Rake means they slope away rather than being more upright. When surfing the Future Fin setup gives you rock solid stability under your feet with projection, positive drive and carving power. You can still go top to bottom but the main characteristic is that you cover more ground going hard down the line with your turns. You get control in that you can carve and release as you want so you can jam a cuttie or smash off the top.

The wider base is carried up the fin and extended towards the rear while the tip has less area. This helps you get a balance between drive, hold and flex. The width gives great drive that continues through your turn allowing you to hold. When you want to change direction the tip gives release. All the fins are the same size giving a great consistent feeling of drive and projection into and out of turns. The fins have a Ride Number of 5.8 out of 10 so are almost perfectly balanced between giving you drive and speed. It’s a great all round fin.

Super Light

Construction of the Future Fins DHD Honey Comb Tri Fin Set is HC honey comb. This gives you a very light weight. The Future Fin setup keeps the fins stiff though with less flex in the body while the tip is flexier. Under your feet this gives you a positive feel with hold even in sucky waves. As you hold your line you get the feeling of the board carving with you. The Future Fins DHD Set comes in two sizes: Medium and Large. DHD stands for the designer’s name, Darren Handley, shaper for many of the Pros.
