The cord thickness is 7mm which is solid for a 6′ leash. It will be comfortable surfing and not feel cluttered around your feet and fins. The trade off is also that the leash will be strong. The cuff is constructed with neoprene padding. So gives a smooth and comfy fit. High quality velcro seals the cuff so it won’t come off even in a heavy wipeout. The rail saver similarly uses high quality velcro. Stainless steel swivels keep the leash spinning freely. This is important as you don’t want the leash to snag under your fins or feet.
