The Adelio Hybrid Compression Vest gives you health and performance benefits from a tight fit design. The materials used are different from other wetsuits. They stretch but retain shape so you get a tight fit. The cut also is designed to be lean, to hug your body. If you’ve surfed in a t-shirt you know that while it looks cool, the baggy sides can get in your way causing you to blow the wave. The Adelio wetsuit top is the opposite. There’s no slack or loose fit.
The Compression Vest sleeves use a special weight 10 ounce lycra that provides compression. This is said to give a number of benefits including increased blood circulation, better oxygenation of your blood leading to better paddling performance. Strains and pulls from minimal warm up and chafing are also minimised. The stitching is low profile and rounded so it doesn’t give rash. The Adelio Hybrid Compression Top’s long sleeves provide maximum freedom of movement while still giving you UV protection from the sun, and protection from the wind, your board and other elements.
