OAM Cory Lopez Tail Pad
The OAM Cory Lopez Tail Pad is the signature pad of a free surfing charger. It has a 3 piece pad which is one of the most functional designs. The two side pieces can be expanded out towards the rail. So wide and narrow tail boards will get good coverage. It has a diamond traction pattern that’s raised up at just the right height and angle so as to give your foot maximum grip. No matter what angle your foot lands it will get an edge to leverage against. This is important as when you’re driving big moves you need your foot to always be solidly placed. When you need to move your foot, farther forward to setup for a barrel or side to side for rail surfing, the pattern is not too high. It allows your foot to move easily and not get stuck up.
A raised high arch bar in the center section gives your foot great support. It gives you the feeling your foot is sitting up high. This section also has holes giving your inner foot a non-slip surface. The tail has a medium kick. It gives you the edge you can place the side of your foot against so you won’t slip. However it’s not too high. So if you have a misplaced aerial landing or late takeoff you’ll still be able to place your foot on it and get traction.
