FCS Knubster Centre Keel Fin

The FCS Knubster Centre Keel Fin is a speciality fin that gives you an edge. The fin is used as your rear fin in a 5 fin setup. Kelly Slater popularised the use during his Quad days, gaining numerous wins, using this fin to make his board a 5 fin. So now you can experience some of the magic too. A 5 fin setup is not the only way you can use the knubster. You can also use it with your thruster, twin or as a single fin setup. So you can really mix it up almost alaia style just using the Knubster. Hard to define a definitive set of benefits, the Nubster delivers a mix of hold, transition and refinement.

Kelly says “The Knubster makes your Quad Fin Set-up feel faster, smoother, and it adds a little more control. It just tightens everything up a bit.” The FCS VS Knubster has only a single tab. In this way you can place it either in the forward or rear position of the FCS plug to suit your preference. Forward should loosen your board up. Rear should draw out your turns.
