The Komunity Project Longboard 9′ Leash comes out of a Kelly Slater initiative, the Komunity Project. This is a premium leash. Stainless swivels are incorporated at both ends so the leash turns and moves freely. This also prevents snaking and twisting. This is an important feature as it helps prevent the cord from snagging around your fins slowing you down or causing your board to catch. Construction is of solid quality urethane so the leash doesn’t overstretch and returns to size. It also has the right amount of spring and elasticity so the board returns where you need it. A detachable triple wrap rail saver is also part of the package so it’s easy to swap out to another board. Construction is of quality components. It comes with a 12 month warranty.
